Hi! My name is Jackelyn Badea, and I’m excited to join Deep Run High School as the School-Based Compliance Coordinator. I’m originally from Puerto Rico and enjoy walking the trails at Deep Run Park, attending food and music festivals, traveling with my high school friends, and spending quality time with my family. I’m thrilled to be part of the Wildcat community and look forward to supporting our students and staff this year!

I am joining Deep Run for the 25-26 school year as an Integrated Services teacher! I love being a teacher because I get to explore and build upon the little details that connect us all as human beings. I’m from Powhatan and love making art, listening to music, playing ice hockey and gardening in my free time. I am so excited to be joining the Wildcat team!

Welcome to Mrs. Das to Deep Run! Hi! My name is Sayantani Das, and I’m excited to be joining the team at Deep Run High School! I’ll be teaching Accounting I Honors, Microsoft IT Academy, and Business Law/Business Management courses, and I can’t wait to share my passion for learning with my students. I’m originally from India, and I’ve always loved being part of a school community that values growth, creativity, and connection.
What excites me most about being at Deep Run is the strong sense of community and the opportunity to help students reach their full potential. Outside of the classroom, I enjoy traveling, trying new recipes, reading, and watching movies. For me, the best part of being a teacher is building meaningful relationships with students and seeing their confidence grow over time.
